The results are in…

The number of businesses entering the Awards has continued to grow with more businesses than ever putting themselves in the frame in 2009. The high quality of the entries created a great deal of competition within all the categories, leading to the fastest ever sell out Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony. The event took place on Thursday 22 October 2009, at the Wentworth Club in Surrey, brilliantly hosted by Gyles Brandreth and John Williams, Chairman, Tourism South East.

Congratulations to all the finalists, a listing of which can be viewed using the navigation bar. The majority of winners will go on to compete on the national stage in the EnjoyEngland Awards for Excellence, operated by VisitEngland, the national tourism marketing body. The successful finalists will represent the region at the national Awards, which will be hosted in the South East, in Brighton. The event will take place on St. George's Day, 23 April 2010.

The 2010 Tourism ExSEllence Awards programme will open for entries in April. The Awards provide tourism businesses with a superb opportunity to associate with some of the best organisations in the South East. The Programme generates extensive consumer and industry media coverage include regional television and radio.
